Applications are now open for the Centre for Global Epilepsy Angelini Pharma Visiting Scholarship.
The Visiting Scholarship provides clinicians from resource-limited settings the opportunity to spend 6-8 weeks at the Centre for Global Epilepsy, Wolfson College, University of Oxford, developing research and professional skills, collaborating with colleagues and gaining hands-on experience in global epilepsy research and care.
What does the Visiting Scholarship offer?
Scholars will have the opportunity to:

Develop specific research and professional skills through an immersive placement in Oxford

Collaborate with researchers and clinicians and build international networks

Share their work and insights through a public lecture in Oxford

Receive virtual mentorship following the Oxford placement to support research outputs and ongoing development

Apply their learning and experience to strengthen epilepsy research and care globally
The programme aims to build a diverse community of researchers who can translate their experience in Oxford into lasting impact in their home countries.
Who can apply?
This opportunity is open to clinician applicants only, who are based in a low- or middle-income country. Applicants must have support from both a proposed University of Oxford supervisor and a mentor at their home institution/workplace.
